Chris showed these three lovely incubator quilts, destined for Kings College Hospital.
And Susan, a new member of the group, presented a quilt made of her grandson's old t-shirts. It came as a request from her daughter as a present for his 18th birthday. This gift was very cleverly put together and Susan added her own contribution with advice for a young man coming of age on the reverse. Such a brilliant idea and beautifully executed!
Although not actually shown off this month, Yvonne Stafford did submit this picture of a cushion she had made for her daughter's friend.
It is a Delphine Brooke's pattern made into a 22" square cushion.
I love his cheeky smile!

Anna was first up, with a quilt started at a class with MC Quilters from many years ago, finished at last!
Sue then showed a quilt she had made for her new grandson. The pattern came from Kids Quilts in New Zealand. It is made up of bondawebbed pieces with hand blanket stitching and hand quilting around the shapes and machine quilting on the borders.
Diane finally completed this beautiful Linus quilt of blocks and handed it over to Norma for distribution.
Norma showed this Carolyn Forster quilt that she started years ago. Still a work in progress but Norma had hoped to finish it in time for tonight's talk from Carolyn.
