In February we enjoyed another visit from Jo Baddeley from Puddleducks. We are always delighted to see her, especially as she brought a little pop-up shop of wonderful fabrics, so hard to resist even if you don't have a project on the go at the time!

She also brought along a book cushion as an idea for a simple project. This is a standard cushion cover with a handy pocket to hold your book. For those ladies who are also members of a WI, this month's edition of WI Life has the step-by-step instructions for making this item. This picture is the example in the magazine.

As well as all of the above, Jo showed us some of her own fabulous quilts, all long-arm quilted,

These quilts are from the Bunny Hill range, using applique and piecing in Moda fabrics.

and on the right, Flower Farm

These beautiful quilts are designs by Lynette Anderson.

A Dog's Life

Always a favourite, this is the 'Honey Bears' quilt from Kids Quilts, a New Zealand company that creates wonderful designs for children. The applique is edged in black blanket stitch which really makes the characters stand out. Check out their site at kidsquilts.com.
